The media section takes one parameter that was historically used but that has lost its meaning since we concentrate on the decoder functionality of mpeglib. Surely, if we add more codecs, it will become interesting again.
<mpegtv> is a boolean value that indicates whether the mpeg decoding and presentation facility should be provided by the mpegtv decoder. Since our efforts to buy licenses for this decoder were fruitless, we have dropped support. The parameter is only historic.
